Family-Community Resource Center

Learning can be difficult when students’ basic needs aren’t met. The goal of Family-Community Resource Centers is to help all children succeed, and we do that by removing barriers and connecting families with community resources.

Help can come in many forms:

• After-school activities
• School supplies
• Medical, prescription, dental, hearing, vision and mental health services
• Clothing, coats and shoes
• Food
• Transportation
• Housing and utilities assistance
• Job-finding assistance
• Child care
• Preschool and other early learning opportunities
• GED preparation
• Access to a computer
• Parenting information
