I recently had a 5th grade class in the makerspace for a project in which the theme was, “How do you make your own fun”? I challenged this class to create a game from scratch in which they had to have elements of a board game and some physical activity intertwined. The results were amazing!
Here in the latest edition of our podcast series, is fifth grade teacher Mr. Affeldt and four of his #VPSamazing students voicing what they loved about this project and what they hope to do in the years to come as we move forward with making and tinkering in this great district.
